水曜日のクラスの陽子さんが、味噌作りを習ってきたので、一緒に英語表現にトライしてみました。

How to make miso

I made miso paste for the first time.

I will explain how to make miso paste. The ingredients of the miso paste are soybeans, salt, rice koji and barely koji.

1  First, boil soybeans and cool them with fan and mix them with other ingredients by hand

2  Form the mixture into 16 tennis-boll-sized pieces dumplings and remove air from them by throwing them into a container.

3  Smooth them and wrap them in plastic wrap and put the lid on the container.

4  It takes three months to ferment it.

I’ll expect to eat miso soup by this miso paste next year.

*  麹:mould grown on rice, barley, beans, etc. as a starter to make sake, miso, soy sauce, etc. (mold); malted rice; malt
